Overview of Travel Routes
By air
The hotel is located only 8 miles from the Zurich-Kloten International Airport (ZRH). The best way to travel to the city center is to take the train in the direction of the Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main train station), a journey of 10 minutes. The number 10 streetcar, in the direction of Zurich Hauptbahnhof, also travels to Zurich’s city center (35 minutes). The journey by taxi or shuttle bus (CHF 25.00) takes approximately 25 minutes.
By public transport
At the main train station, take the number 6 streetcar (in the direction of Bahnhof Enge), number 7 (in the direction of Wollishofen), number 11 (in the direction of Rehalp) or number 13 (in the direction of Albisgütli). Get off at Rennweg / Augustinergasse, walk back down the street for a distance of approximately 65 feet and turn left at the first intersecting street. You will see the Sorell Hotel Seidenhof after just a few more yards. You can easily walk the streetcar route in approximately 5 minutes.
By car
As no parking spaces are available at the hotel, we advise guests to park their vehicles in the Parkhaus Urania or in the Parkhaus Gessner-Allee. Both multi-story car parks are located just a short distance from the hotel. A day ticket costs CHF 40.00.
